A quick review of the knowledge business blueprint program

There are plenty of business models out there, all vying to share the limelight and be hailed as the best. The Knowledge Business Blueprint program is just one of these, a company which helps people find their own mastermind group.

They’ve been around since the 1930s, conceived by Napoleon Hill. Created by Tony Robbins, Dean Graziosi and Russell Brunson, it has certainly stood the test of time and proven it has got a very strong idea at its heart. We’re here to give you a quick review of the program and to discuss some of its most defining features.

The ideology behind the program is that every business goes through tough times and it can be difficult to find your feet. They aim to bring entrepreneurs and other business people together to form mastermind groups, allowing them to discuss business struggles, ways to find success and challenges they may face.

It’s a similar idea to getting into groups at school or college; everyone can brainstorm ideas and figure out what the best plan is for all parties. This allows those taking part to share their business experience and plans with others in similar situations to themselves.

So why would you opt to get involved with this particular program? Is it not just most other programs, who want to help you for their own gain and don’t give you any real assistance? This isn’t the case with the Knowledge Business Blueprint Program, as they really put a lot work into helping their members. They have a large number of successful businesspeople who are willing to share their secrets and tips in order to help others.

Different tactics and strategies are shared in meetings, and the program is actually designed to help the struggling entrepreneur who needs help finding their feet in what is an increasingly difficult world to create a successful business.

Tony Robbins, Dean Graziosi, and Russell Brunson are the three men who have dedicated their time over the past years to create a platform beneficial to everyone who uses it. With over 60 years of experience between them, they have created mastermind groups for numerous people and have helped thousands of people around the world create successful businesses and therefore reap the financial benefits.

Their experience has proven invaluable in assisting all of these people, as has their innovative thinking and their willingness to help others. They have helped make modest entrepreneurs into the large business owners they are today.

So how do you create your own mastermind group? First you have to select your topic or idea, which can often be the hardest part of the whole process. It can prove exceedingly difficult to brainstorm an idea you think will work well in the long term, and can also take up a lot of time.

However, once you think you’ve come up with an idea which has the potential to be a success, you can call your members. You need to find other members who have similar ideas and a similar thought process to you, as this will make you more likely to work better as a team and less likely to have any damaging confrontations.

Make sure you balance the size of your group, too; a large group will contain more masterminds and perhaps present more ideas, but a smaller group will be easier to manage- so make sure you strike the right balance.

You should set up a number of rules within your group to make sure everyone pulls their weight and to keep the group under control. Try to make everyone stick to a schedule; this will increase your group’s chances of being a success.

The overall verdict is that the Knowledge Business Blueprint program is a very effective tool in building business’. It provides you with special strategies and tips to build your business from the ground up, and allows you to share these skills with other members. Upon joining the program, you are supplied with a full kit; this includes the Knowledge Business Blueprint course as well as Mindmint software. Mindmint software is a tool with is designed simply to make the knowledge extraction process much more simple.

Features of the program include the fresh knowledge you can benefit from upon joining. It can sometimes get tedious listening to your own thoughts all day, and this can often provide a mental block when it comes to coming up with new ideas. This is why the program is so effective- you can bounce ideas off other people with a similar thought process to yourself and therefore be more ruthless in exterminating needless ideas and distractions.

You are also provided with a huge amount of invaluable resources. This is often the reason people aren’t able to realise their dream or creating their own business- they simply don’t have the resources or funds available to give it the kick-start it needs. With the Knowledge Business Blueprint program, however, you are given a large number of resources for you and your mastermind group to work with; this can prove to be the catalyst you all need to get going in the business world.

c

A technique often employed by a lot of mastermind group is the 10 Minute Millionaire system. This is a very complex idea which has been simplified significantly in recent times, and has since become a very common technique used by those starting up with their own business’.

The idea follows the ideology of the following quotation;

“With my system, it’s like a snowball effect. You set up a few trades – a little bit of money in each – and they just start building on each other, paying out constantly. Of course, you won’t win every trade.

And some you’ll win a little. Others you’ll win a lot. But it’s the repetition that makes it possible to double, even triple your income from this system.”

This is a technique you may wish to employ, but no matter what techniques you are looking at for starting up your business, one thing is clear; the Knowledge Business Blueprint program will go a long way to helping you.

By going into mastermind groups with other budding entrepreneurs and by being supplied with a number of resources to help you on your way, there’s no limits to the heights you and your groups can reach.

Loyalty marketers have lost sight of what consumers really want from brand loyalty schemes – that’s the stark finding of a new report from research group Rare: Consulting.

The result of a survey among 1,000 UK-based consumers, Rare:’s report Loyalty 2020 concludes brands need to consider customer behaviour and expectations to build loyalty as it’s no longer simply a transactional requirement. In fact, quality is identified as the most important factor in building trust and loyalty, ahead of price and customer service.

The report benchmarks brands in the hospitality, retail, fitness entertainment streaming sectors based on their ability to create loyalty. Key findings include:

  • Netflix, Hulu, Spotify and other streaming providers are more successful at engendering loyalty than more traditional bricks and mortar product and service providers. Data plays a crucial role in creating services that help make brands “sticky” with their customers

  • Netflix is the only brand in an examination of 50 across all five sectors that was shown to deliver on its customer promise. Almost half of the consumer respondents subscribe to it, while 83% value the brand’s location and quality as its most pleasing attributes among six that were tested

  • Nando’s was the only non-streaming service to make the top three, finishing second out of the 50 overall

  • Streaming services collect data beyond behavioural data, including preference and attitudinal data highlighting a user’s previous consumption patterns, allowing the delivery of relevant and timely experiences. By limiting data collection and analysis to behavioural data, brands in other sectors are missing a huge part of what is important to users

Meanwhile, there is no unifying definition of the term “loyalty”, according to a panel of UK marketers interviewed by Rare. More than half (54%) suggest it is a positive attitude between brand and customer that drives repeat purchase. However, a further fifth say it relates to repeat purchase, and an additional 15% believe loyalty is “a strong feeling of allegiance”.

Ben Pask – founder and CEO of Rare: – says: “Our research reveals confusion about both the definition and value of loyalty programmes among UK brands today.

Marketers need to find a common language around loyalty to leave consumers in no doubt about the benefits their schemes offer.

In other words, if brands want to get loyalty right they must start internally and agree what loyalty means to them, before deciding what customer rewards look like.”

The research also throws a spotlight on different attitudes across age groups. While loyalty programmes are generally valued by older consumers, younger people are less likely to agree that loyalty schemes make them feel special.

Pask concludes: “This point will be especially worrying to brands, as the emerging consumer market – the people who will choose and spend money on products and services for decades to come – appears to be bored with loyalty schemes as they are now.

Clearly, there is much that brands need to do in order to capture their imagination – and that means taking a more structural approach.”

To assist brands, Rare: has developed a new Loyalty Framework. For more details, and to download the free report in full, please head to https://rare.consulting.

Scotland must lead the data revolution through ethics and inclusivity.. DMA

The DMA recently hosted a reception in the Scottish Parliament as part of its Value of Data campaign.

The Value of Data project explores the ethical questions that arise from the use of data and the event brought together MSPs, business leaders and data experts to discuss revolutionising how the professional world views and values data.

Scotland is uniquely placed to become a world leader in data ethics – but the industry must start asking the difficult questions now: How can the professional world use data to create a fairer society?

How can business, academia, government and wider society create frameworks to ensure ethical questions are considered?

Addressing some of the key issues at hand, Jamie Hepburn MSP, Minister for Business, Fair Work and Skills said: “We must ensure we operate in an environment in which we have faith. Rarely a day goes by when we see data in the news.

But all to often, we see data in the news for negative reasons. But we can help change this by bringing the public with us, through getting respect for the safe and ethical use of data.”

He continued: “Using data ethically isn’t a barrier to using data effectively. It is the only sustainable way of maintaining public trust and secure the benefits of big data.”

A number of MSPs attended, including Green Party co-convenor Patrick Harvie MSP, Conservative shadow digital minister Finlay Carson MSP—who offered opening and closing remarks at the event—and SNP convenor of Digital Participation Cross-Party Group Willie Coffey MSP.

Finlay Carson MSP, shadow digital minister, commented:

“Data is the thing leading the fourth industrial revolution. Scotland has led the other three previously, and there’s no doubt that with quality of data and fintech companies we have, we’re in the position to can take the country forward. And absolutely we can be leaders not just in Europe but across the world.”

The DMA has partnered with the University of Edinburgh‘s Bayes Centre and research Centre for Design Informatics to deliver a series of lectures, roundtables and thought-leadership material as part of the campaign. The Value of Data campaign will elevate and champion the role of data and help organisations responsibly deliver value to their customers.

Key takeaways and next steps

University of Edinburgh chair of Design Informatics Professor Chris Speed and chair of DMA Scotland (and one of the DataIQ 100 most influential data and analytics practitioners in the UK) Firas Khnaisser led the conversation on what the data and marketing industry can do.

Professor Chris Speed gave a presentation highlighting his belief that data can change societal and business exchanges. For him, it boils down to three key principles: Data must be good and benefit others; it should be inclusive so that everyone shares the same values of its worth; and how we obtain, process and manage data must be fair.

“Attaching money to data just doesn’t work; it’s not as simple as that. So we’ve been asking ourselves a complicated question: ‘if you change the representation of value, does it change the values that you can represent?’ If you’re thinking about what the value of data is, just think about the values that matter to you. You like things that are good, fair and inclusive,” said Chris Speed.

Support for the Value of Data campaign is strong and all from across business politics and academia are committed to making Scotland not just the data capital of Europe, but a global leader in data ethics.

Summarising the discussions of the session, DMA Scotland Chair, and Head of Decisioning at Standard Life, Firas Khnaisser said: “Together, we share a belief that data-driven innovation will empower the Scottish economy going forward, and the Scottish government has really put action behind those words.

He continued: “What is notable and crucial is that we are trying to sort these challenges to understand the worth of data not just by ourselves but in tandem with other organisations in the public and private sector. This is something we have to do together. We collectively have the ambition of being the data capital of Europe, but we could aim even higher to become world leaders in data ethics and responsible marketing.”

The DMA will be delivering more Value of Data events over the coming months. Information about how to attend or be part of the campaign will be available from the DMA website.

5 free ways to grow your website with no budget

Strong online presence is essential for any kind of business these days. Companies create websites, build landing pages and stay active on social media to raise their brand. All your marketing efforts should be aimed to make your site visible and easily found online.

You could work with a marketing agency that will do all the dirty job for you: engage customers and boost traffic. However, what if you’re running a small business then all your budget would spend on creating your product? Are there ways to grow your website with zero budget for marketing?

In this guide, we will share a few tips on how to grow your website with no budget.

Create a Website

Having a website is a must these days, and it is not a point of discussion. Many companies realize that the website helps potential customers find a company, inform people, and promote services. There are numerous firms that can help you create website design you need, from construction websites to portfolios, blogs, and landing pages.

With a website you can have a broader demographic reach, a site transmits your information around the globe. Customers consider your business more credible over companies who have no website.

Besides, a beautiful, useful website allows you to build communication between you and your clients, both existing and potential ones.

Improve Your Website SEO

People who claim that SEO is dead don’t understand the entire process of optimization. Proper SEO can increase website traffic and boost brand awareness. Take the website on top of SERP will help people find your website and as a result, get more conversions.

Website optimization for search engines is a never-ending work. It’s not enough to simply set up all metadata and keywords on your website. You should always keep updated and check out the latest algorithm requirements and innovations.

Domain authority is crucial. Modern Google algorithm is more tied to traditional search ranking signals such as domain authority, backlinks, and others. Thus, you need to pay extra attention to these factors.

Among the other important ranking factors are the quality of links referring to website domain, the physical address of the business, quality of reviews and citations, the inclusion of the city and state in H1 titles and CTR.

Quick SEO Tips:

  • Make regular research of your competitors to fetch out their ways of creating website content, keywords, backlinks that help them make it higher on rankings. And try to use these for your own business.

  • Make sure your business is listed in all the popular business directories within your industry niche. It helps to establish a strong business presence. Check if your business name, address, phone number, and email are the same in all directories to help crawlers to identify you correctly;

  • For a local business, include your city or state into the website’s title tags;

  • Set up Google Plus Local Page. Pay attention to positive reviews on your Local page because it influences your ranking in search results positively.

Create Quality Useful Content

Every website owner knows that good content helps to attract visitors, gain traffic and boost sales. Since we’re talking about free ways to increase traffic and engagement, you have to focus on the quality of content that helps to solves users’ issues.

Even if you are running a company that sells car tires, there are plenty of topics you can cover on your blog. Read the FAQ section and pay attention to comments and questions your customers may ask. It is an excellent source of new topics for your blog posts.

Think about related industries and topics to create useful, high-quality content. Make sure to add beautiful images and graphics to the articles so that people could share them on social media. Besides, pictures make online posts look more attractive and easy-to-read.

Another free way to improve your domain authority and drive traffic to your website is guest posting. Find blogs within your niche and get in touch with them offering cooperation. Provide them a useful piece of content with a natural mention of your resource in it. This way a blog owner will get a new article, and you get a backlink.

Be Active on Social Media

With over 1.1 billion users in 2019, Instagram is the most popular social media platform these days. You can’t ignore Instagram and possibilities it gives you in terms of advertising and website growing. Over 83% of Americans have accounts on social media which makes them a massive audience of potential clients for brands.

You should definitely have a social media account connected to your brand and website. Facebook allows creating a Brand Page to promote your brand. Create a Business account for Instagram with your brand page, and you’ll get rich statistics about views and followers behavior on your profile.

Most entrepreneurs believe they should create an account on every existing social network. It’s a wrong strategy. Instead of creating accounts on multiple networks, you should decide two or three that you use the most, and where your audience is.

For example, if you are a photographer you can neglect Twitter, but definitely should focus on Instagram. Besides, managing multiple social media accounts takes time, but with 2-3 profiles, you can save time and focus on building your followers.

Collaborate with Influencers

These days companies tend to pay thousands of dollars to influencers who recommend their product or service. Influencers are people with a massive following on Instagram, Facebook, or Youtube.

Modern users are more likely to trust their close environment like friends and bloggers they follow than traditional advertising. Recent studies show that people trust online reviews as much as friends.

Don’t aim at influencers with millions of followers since the price for their sponsored post could vary from hundreds to thousands of dollars. Instead, try to find local microbloggers with 10-50k followers and offer them barter advertising.

It’s a perfect plan for companies with low budget: you give a product or provide your service to a blogger, and he/she recommends your company to their followers.

However, make sure your product is high-quality because if bloggers stay unsatisfied, they could deny sharing information about your business.

Why flexible office space In Gateshead is a great business solution

A flexible office space refers to a flexible alternative solution to traditional offices. It is also called as a flex space or shared office space, equipped with basic equipment, such as phone lines, chairs, and desks.

A flexible office is a great business solution for new and expanding businesses, and even if you have already an existing and long-term business.

Learn more about the good reasons why you need a flexible office space Gateshead for a successful business.

Mobile Working

Flexible offices are not fixed or permanent, promoting mobile working. It means that you and your employees can work in alternating locations unlike having fixed workstations.

Here are the benefits of mobile working:

  • Share a flexible workspace with other employees or staff from different companies.

  • Arrange and design your office anytime to improve productivity.

  • Mobile working promotes participation, collaboration, better employee and employer relationship, and work ethics.

Complete Office Environment

A flexible office space won’t downsize you with office equipment, features and amenities. You and your employees can enjoy all the perks of a traditional office in a shared workspace.

Here are the things you can expect from a shared office space:

  • Facilities: Boardroom and meeting rooms, secretarial services, catering, printing area, and communication services

  • Office Environment: Air conditioned offices, electricity, water, power and data points, 24/7 access to private and lock-up suites, office furniture, cleaning services, and shared access to balconies, toilets, and kitchens

  • Security: Access control, armed response, motion detectors, sensory pads, and closed-circuit television or CCTV

  • Reception: Send and receive faxes, send and receive courier packages or post, and you have your receptionist to take and receive calls

  • Data Network: High-speed internet, on-call technical support, cable network, switches, and routers

Long-Term Commitment Is Not Required

As a new business owner, it’s risky to commit to long-term contract terms or lease duration. It’s a good thing that shared office spaces provide flexibility to start-up businesses with decreased leasing or rental cost. Watch https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j40eis491TM to help you find a flexible office space in Gateshead.

Here are the good-to-know facts about flexible workspace leases:

  • The length of shared office space leases differs.

  • You can extend your lease depending on your requirements and business needs.

  • Flexible workspace leases roll month-to-month. You can opt for at least four to six months, or you can even extend your contract for two years.

Less Disruptive Transition

Most flexible office spaces are ready to move in, so transitioning or moving from one premise to another is less disruptive. When comparing a traditional space and a shared office space, both have similarities.

Here are the similarities of flexible office spaces and traditional workspaces:

  • Notice is provided before business owners or companies vacate the premises. It’s just that flexispaces would require shorter notice.

  • Both office spaces require deposit and insurance.

  • Flexible offices, like traditional workspaces, may come furnished or unfurnished.

Business Scalability

Flexible office spaces are considered temporary workspaces, supporting businesses in every stage of development. A traditional office rental might not accommodate the needs of your business and support the well-being of your employees. You may need additional space during a busy period, and flex spaces provide an excellent business solution to your growing company.

Here are the scalability benefits of flexible office spaces:

  • You don’t have to vacate your office space while looking for a long-term space.

  • Start-up businesses can rent a temporary office space before committing to leasing a specific location.

  • Hire more employees and redesign the flexispace according to work demands.

Reduced Overhead Costs

One of the most important advantages of flexible office space is reduced overhead costs. It is because shared office spaces are cheaper or more affordable than traditional office spaces.

Here are the essential cost-effective benefits of flexible office spaces:

  • All expenses are already included in one fixed monthly fee, such as parking, electricity, heating, water, and business rates.

  • Many providers offer extras like visitor parking spaces or business storage spaces.

  • With a shared workspace, you only pay a fixed amount monthly. That’s why financial planning is made easier. Also, budgeting is more accurate.

  • You have the option of renting a serviced or a managed flexible office without worrying about hiring a receptionist to welcome your customer or to do admin jobs.

Conclusion

Renting a flexible office space is your best business decision if you’re still starting your company or you see your business growth for the next one to two years.

The important reasons you should consider renting a shared space include reduced overhead cost, scalability, no long-term contracts required, and less disruption when moving from one place to another.

A new bold and ‘sexy’ Victoria’s Secret catwalk style ad campaign

TENA has launched its new Silhouette Noir product with a ground-breaking catwalk shot in the style of Victoria’s Secret that has taken over London’s Oxford Street.

This is the first campaign from TENA Women’s new platform “I Will Be Me” developed with AMV BBDO, with the key objective of breaking taboos around incontinence.

The campaign re-imagines the Victoria’s Secret ‘Angels’ catwalk image, using the highly recognisable wings iconography on a 48-sheet billboard and digital 6-sheets in major London locations renowned for their fashion credentials, featuring age 40+ models wearing the Silhouette Noir all-black pant.

TENA Silhouette Noir is the UK’s first black incontinence product, offering incredible discretion and features a low waist, making it look, feel and fit far more like traditional underwear than standard incontinence pants, the company said.

Up front: New TENA campaign takes over London’s Oxford St

Challenging perceptions

The launch campaign aims to challenge the common misconception that women with incontinence struggle to feel ‘sexy’ and are unable to wear matching underwear.

It is the first product of its kind to position incontinence underwear within a fashion context to create an attention-grabbing image and underline Silhouette Noir’s fashion credentials.

The campaign’s Victoria’s Secret-styled images feature on a statement 48-sheet billboard on London’s Tottenham Court Road and a 6-sheet domination of Oxford Street from April 22nd, creating visual impact for target media.

This stunt is underpinned by research examining women’s attitudes towards underwear and the emotional impact of their lingerie choices, TENA said.

“Despite the fact that one in three women over 35 experience bladder weakness, it remains a taboo subject for many of us”, said Anna McCrory, senior brand manager for TENA UK.

“At TENA, we are on a mission to tackle these taboos and inspire women who experience incontinence to feel good about themselves.

“We are incredibly proud of this new product and the exciting campaign we’ve devised to launch it. Silhouette Noir truly breaks new ground, helping women to feel sexy, confident and able to wear what they like without being restricted by the colour or shape of their underwear, an important step towards normalising incontinence.”

Scriba PR : This B2B communications agency lands a triple-continent comms retainer

Yorkshire PR firm lands triple-continent comms retainer

Scriba PR is celebrating a solid start to 2019, having secured a hat-trick of international contract wins with global shredder manufacturer client, UNTHA. As the bolt-on communications department for the Austria-headquartered firm, the latest appointment will see the Yorkshire agency work across three continents.

Already responsible for all media relations for the Energy from Waste (EfW) experts in the UK and Europe, the Huddersfield-based communications firm has added UNTHA America and a distributer programme in Australia, to a growing roster of worldwide clients.

The investment reflects UNTHA’s projected worldwide growth of 25%, over the next 12 months, with 12 Waste to Energy shredding solution sales already secured in the first four months of the year.

Poignantly – as Scriba PR celebrates 12 months of significant growth, with turnover up by 22% and 24 new project wins – UNTHA UK was the technical agency’s first retainer client, in 2013. And, as both firms have flourished – with the former having sold over 9,000 shredders globally – the B2B communications agency has grown to become an extension of the industrial heavyweight’s in-house team.

A key driving force behind significant growth in the UK …

Marcus Brew, UNTHA UK managing director

Gary Moore, global director of business development at UNTHA, [pictured] said: “This is a time of considerable development, and it’s crucial that we have the right people in place to capitalise on the opportunities available across the globe.

Foodservice delivery growth to be facilitated by branded drones

An online YouGov poll commissioned by leading entertainment and passenger engagement company Spafax published today reveals that 57% of UK adults online who have been in an airport lounge find them boring, with 49% agreeing that lounges need to change to become more interesting.

YouGov surveyed 2,131 respondents (gen UK adult population of 18+) asking those who had visited an airport lounge how they spend their time in them, what experiences they would be interested in while in the lounge and what they would consider purchasing in them.

The survey revealed, while in the lounge, top activities include:

  • 39% eat or drink the food provided by the lounge

  • 38% read

  • 33% browse the internet on a personal device

What people want from airport lounges

When asked what they would like to be offered while in the lounge – 39% of respondents selected free samples of exclusive products such as mini pots of luxury jam or a centenary ale from a craft brewery.

Additional interest was noted for pop-up stores and innovative brand experiences involving product testing. 17% would like a pop-up store experience created exclusively for the lounge and 16% would like an innovative brand experience like test driving a car or product testing.

Full-time students showed the most interest in innovative brand experience with nearly 1 in 3 (32%) selecting this option.

Charles Vine, Head of Brand Alliances at Spafax, who sponsored the survey, said:

“The data in this poll makes a strong argument for revamping and zipping up airport lounges with a whopping 57 % of adults that have been in an airport lounge agreeing that they’re boring,

“The issue is dead simple – we need to make airport lounges worthwhile places to be in, places where you discover things. This presents a strong opportunity for brands to develop new experiences.

“You have the most sought-after consumers in the world, effectively captive in airport lounges. With sophisticated tastes and busy lives, these passengers are usually inundated with information overload, but in airport lounges, they are reporting down time, where they are receptive.

“The sky is one of the most effective marketing environments and Spafax is on a mission to make airport lounges worthwhile places to be – places where travellers experience new things.”

When asked what they would consider purchasing while in the lounge, with options ranging from alcohol to health and beauty products to clothing, shoes and watches to transports and entertainment tickets, respondents showed enthusiasm for:

  • Alcohol: 28%

  • Health and beauty products (makeup, perfume, skincare) 27 %

  • Transport tickets for their destination (trains, buses, taxis, etc.) 21%

Vine, who has built a host of alliances between airlines and brands, said:

“There is a huge opportunity with high dwell time to take advantage of the moment of repose that passengers have in lounges.

“The survey showed strong showings for pop up stores and innovative brand experiences. The space is ripe for clever, relevant creative thinking. A lounge can be the first time you tried a gin, worked out on a Peloton cycle, bought some West End tickets or bought yourself a Centenary whisky cask. Both the airline and the brand get to benefit and gain wow factor.”

Difference between men and women

The survey showed that the most significant differences between male and female respondents arose when asked what they would like to be offered in the lounge and what they would consider purchasing.

While men are interested in free exclusive product sampling with 34% selecting the option, this figure was ever higher for women, 43% choosing the option.

Women and men were similarly interested in purchasing alcohol, transport tickets, electronics and watches.

However, women were significantly more interested in purchasing health and beauty products, jewellery, clothes, shoes and entertainment tickets compared to men. Forty per cent of women would purchase health and beauty products in the lounge, with only 14% of men showing interest. Twenty-five per cent of women would purchase clothes and accessories, while 13% of men would.

Missing out: why influencer marketing is all too often overlooked

It’s hard to argue with many of the impressive statistics regarding the potential of influencer marketing.

This very modern form of marketing has been deemed effective by 94% of marketers who have tried it, while it can spur up to eleven times more ROI than traditional marketing.

Given those eye-opening statistics shared by Business 2 Community, why aren’t more people sampling influencer marketing? This reticence could be attributed to several understandable myths which have lingered, resulting in the following unfortunate developments…

Mistaking influencer marketing for celebrity endorsements

What actually is influencer marketing? It’s too easy to mistake it for just a continuation of celebrity endorsements, which have obviously held sway long before Instagram even existed for big stars to share product recommendations.

However, while celebrities could indeed be considered “influencers”, that term can also include micro-influencers whose follower counts and areas of specialism are comparatively niche. You shouldn’t necessarily disregard such low-scale influencers, as we will elaborate…

Obsessing over an influencer’s reach rather than their engagement

Yes, it’s easy to be wowed if a particular influencer has a follower count running into the millions, but it doesn’t strictly follow that you should rush to court that influencer’s services.

Unfortunately, newcomers to influencer marketing too readily prioritise targeting public figures with impressively high numbers of fans and followers. While such reach could indeed be helpful for cultivating awareness of a product or brand, what if you want to spur action?

Whether the action you want is submitting a form, signing up for a newsletter or simply buying a product, choose an influencer on account of their engagement rate. Small Business Trends cites a study revealing that, the higher an influencer’s follower count, the lower their engagement can be.

A perception that influencers don’t want to help

Perhaps due to the common belief that “influencer” is basically synonymous with “celebrity”, many people could assume that influencers would be unwilling to set aside time to help them.

However, marketing guru Neil Patel has recalled how, contrary to his expectations, the influencers he met weren’t “arrogant, distant or rude”, but instead “were interested in me and offered to help me”, and proceeded to connect him to other influential people they knew.

A lack of obviously prestigious connections

Patel also emphasises that his early success in connecting with influencers “wasn’t because my dad was a hedge manager, or because I worked for Apple or because my sister married Bill Gates’ son”, adding: “None of those things are true, by the way.”

Treating influencer marketing as a one-off project

Resist taking a “try it and leave it” approach to influencer marketing. You can reap optimum returns from this type of marketing if you not only forge strong relationships with the right influencers but also keep those relationships running for months or years.

Nonetheless, if you’re unsure where to even start, an influencer marketing agency could help you in making the initial contact with a public figure capable of taking your promotional efforts to the next level.

Marketing a miniature golf courses business | Top 5 Tips

The right marketing plan is what small and medium miniature golf courses need to compete with bigger competitors. They can even go ahead to outperform them in terms of winning fun seeking people over and sales. Every business needs a good marketing plan to thrive.

Staffing Expertise

This is one aspect that can make or mar the execution of a marketing strategy. Assigning duties to staff for the execution phase is usually easier than coming up with marketing strategies. You will find many owners taking on the role of marketer-in-chief, adding more burden their already tight schedule with more responsibilities.

In order to record better success in marketing their miniature golf courses businesses, owners recruit external marketing experts who are specialized in time management and improved performance.

It is recommended that miniature golf courses business owners should break down marketing activities into objectives, and focus on the key messaging of the marketing campaign in order to increase performance.

Market Segmentation

With the current marketing tools, marketing a miniature golf courses business to the large marketplace is possible. Market segmentation as a strategy has been deployed for many decades and it has been instrumental in enabling small businesses to gain a chunk of the market share in their respective sectors, even in the face of competition from bigger businesses.

By deploying some of your resources on customers within your market segment, you can facilitate market segmentation by using a filtered mailing list. There are list providers who cut across different segments and can accommodate your miniature gold courses business marketing goals.

Sponsorships

Team and event sponsorships have been proven to be effective time and time again – it is a fantastic method of creating brand awareness and raising the public perception or profile of miniature golf courses businesses. The objective here is to increase sales by creating better brand visibility and Goodwill for your business or the product and service you are offering.

On the other side, if your sponsorship effort is not deliberate, you might end up spending a lot of money and gaining little or no return for your investment.

The most important thing is to tie your sponsorship around events that will be attended by customers who regularly visit miniature golf courses. If you come to the realization that you are not going to achieve much from a particular sponsorship scenario, it is better to withdraw your support, especially if it will damage the image and perception of your brand.

Simple ways to improve your email marketing campaigns

Emails are a fantastic method of digital marketing that is used by thousands of businesses on a daily basis. With so many emails being sent out regularly, making sure that everything about your email is intriguing and formatted well enough for the receiver to open and read it is essential.

To ensure that you are getting enough from this promotional method, here are some simple ways to improve your email marketing campaigns.

Your Target Audience

Knowing your audience well and making sure the messages you send to them are relevant is very important when it comes to email marketing campaigns.

Blasting every one of your subscribers with the same messages is one of the worst mistakes you can make when it comes to email marketing. To fix this, you can use list segmentation to make sure each one of your subscribers gets messages that are relevant for them. This is critical to success.

Short and Snappy

When email marketing first came about, it was common for email newsletters to get sent out. These were packed full of content rendered in a small format. Even though they aren’t as common nowadays, they do still exist, but they tend to overwhelm the reader.

Making sure the emails you send out are precise and clear is highly advisable. The shorter, simpler emails are the ones that the receivers react to.

Personalization

It has been proven that personalizing an email pays off. Those that begin with generic introductions make people feel like the content they have received isn’t tailored to them. Just using the person’s name to start your email is all you need to grab their attention because it appears to users that you care.

Combining Marketing Services

There are a range of different companies that offer products and services to help with things like social media marketing, web analytics, search engine optimization, and content management, etc.

Using an email marketing service can really benefit your digital campaign, but combining different software together is great for maximizing results. For example, syncing HubSpot with MailChimp will ensure that new contacts who submit your form to the MailChimp list of your choice will automatically be pushed up.

However, this HubSpot Mailchimp integration does have its limitations, as it works best in specific scenarios, which is where the use of PieSync comes in.

PieSync will check several things before the contacts are moved, saving you a lot of work; find out more by reading their blog.

Have a Call-to-Action

All emails need to have a call-to-action (CTA) so the users know what to do next. The best way to go about this is to have a single CTA in the email, which directs users on their next move.

If you include multiple CTAs, then you may confuse the receiver to the point where they don’t click the links provided at all. So, the stand-alone CTA that takes the client to the landing page they expect is ideal.

When it comes to email marketing, ensuring that the emails make the user’s life as easy as possible is key to this digital campaign being successful. Making sure emails are simple, clean, and have one clear message that they focus on is easier for the people who receive them as well as you (to design and create).

New Report Reveals How To Make Money From Membership Economics™

Research Finds Three Quarters of Business Leaders Feel Subscription Holds Key to Growth in the ‘Membership Economy’

New research from international growth strategy experts Manifesto Growth Architects has revealed that 70 per cent of businesses believe that membership and subscription models hold the key to future commercial growth and expansion, yet very few are harnessing its potential.

With Disney announcing details of its new streaming service to rival Netflix, the Financial Times reporting 1 million paying readers a year ahead of plan and Unilever pushing into healthy snack subscriptions with acquisition of Graze, the last few weeks alone have shown  that membership models are fast becoming one of the hottest topics on the UK business growth agenda.

However, according to new independent research from Manifesto, which surveyed 504 senior business leaders across sectors spanning retail, finance, leisure, automotive and utilities, only a quarter (24 per cent) of businesses are currently implementing subscription models, with less than one in ten (7 per cent) generating significant revenue via membership.

A quarter of business leaders (24 per cent) said they were trialling membership models but weren’t sure how they would evolve and a similar number (22 per cent) said membership products had definite potential, but they were unsure how to approach them.

Manifesto, which also conducted in depth interviews with over 40 executives with subscription offerings as part of the research, says both its own findings and wider market trends show companies need to seriously consider investing in their direct to consumer offering to protect market share, boost revenues, and develop sustainable long-term customer relationships, or risk losing out.

Whilst subscription fees often define the membership model for many, Manifesto says transactional, advertising and affiliate income can hold equal if not greater revenue potential – but harnessing this for some companies can mean a bold departure from ‘business as usual’.

The business, which specialises in developing growth strategies for major international household names including Merlin, Disney, News Corp, Purina, Pay.UK and Coty, says the research should be a wake-up call to business leaders and encourage more to explore new customer propositions in the wake of evolving tech and behaviour shifts linked to the membership economy.

The findings feature in ‘How to Make Money from the Membership Economy’ – a new report from Manifesto which shows the Leisure and Entertainment, Retail and Media sectors recognised as having the most potential for membership, reflecting the success of proven subscriber models including the Wall Street Journal, The Times and Netflix. Utilities and the Automotive sectors were though by business leaders to have the least potential – an assumption challenged by Manifesto in its analysis.

Manifesto Executive Vice President, Sam Jordan, a specialist in membership proposition development said: “Netflix is the pioneer of the membership economy so it’s no surprise to see Disney and Apple following suit and announcing a streaming platform as a way of increasing long-term customer relationships and generating ongoing revenue.

“Our research and report shows just how much of an opportunity there is for businesses looking to take that plunge and develop a subscription model for their customers. The success of a membership or subscription models ultimately begins and ends with the consumer, and in line with this, evolving the associated consumer proposition and experience. It’s important for businesses to recognise the potential subscription holds for capturing and retaining fresh revenue streams – but equally it’s got to be done right.

“Our report is the first of its kind. It not only shows the revenue potential of a well-executed subscription or membership model, but also identifies the core capabilities a business needs to master to be successful. It’s never a case of one size fits all.”

Manifesto Growth Architects will launch the findings at an event exploring membership models and their benefits on Tuesday, April 30 from 8:00-10:00am at h Club London, 24 Endell Street, London, WC2H 9HQ, featuring speakers from The Times, Revolut and Tortoise.

Laughter Spot : ‘The bigger they are, the sillier the lady is’

A mother and father take their 6-year old son to a family nude beach…

As the boy walks along the sand, he notices that many of the women have boobs bigger than his mother’s, so he goes back to ask her why.

She tells her son, ‘The bigger they are, the sillier the lady is.’

The boy, pleased with the answer, goes to play in the ocean but returns to tell his mother

that many of the men have larger things than his dad does.

She replies, ‘The bigger they are, the dumber the man is’

Again satisfied with her answer, the boy goes back to the ocean to play

Shortly thereafter, the boy returns and promptly tells his mother:

‘Daddy is talking to the
silliest lady on the beach, and the longer he talks, the dumber he gets.

Markets you should always have an eye on

Working a full-time job from 9 am to 5 pm may not gain you enough money. Investing in various markets after coming up with a well-thought business plan can be a surefire way to grow your wealth.

But what are the markets that you should be considering to invest your money in?

While many think that investing their money in one of the trending markets will grant them financial bliss, it is important to note that investing is rather a way of granting consistent growth over time.

This article will guide you through markets that you should consider and stay abreast with to become a good investor.

Real Estate

Techniques differ when it comes to investing money in the real state; some will spend 9 hours a day only planning and investing. Others who have a full-time job can just spend forty hours per year and still make a respectable amount of money. The timeline of your wealth growth depends on your style, skills, knowledge, and most importantly, your business plan.

Home ownership in itself is considered an investment according to the fact that properties only rise in value. However, if you want to make fast cash, house flipping or rental properties can guarantee you a constant inflow of money.

Gold Investing

While diamonds lose their value once you buy them, gold is the exact opposite. Gold only rises in value most of the time.

Probably just like you, most people are in the dark this precious metal and how to invest in gold for a brighter future or happy retirement. But it’s actually simpler than most people perceive it to be.

For starters, investors have many options today compared to before and you can invest in gold stocks or physical gold. One of the pros of owning gold coins or bullion is avoiding inflation. Take how cheap the prices were in the 90s and how the prices are now.

Now take how gold prices only rise in value at a much faster rate than inflation rates. Gold is considered a hedge against the U.S. dollar’s decline in value. If you have good analytical skills, you are better off investing in gold stocks, especially if you know the ins and outs of the gold stock market.

Stock Market

Investing in the stock market requires many skills, patience, discipline, and well-thought strategies. It’s tempting to invest in the stocks that everyone investing in, however, you need to avoid that mentality. Invest only in the stocks you think is worth putting your money in.

You might fall into the dilemma of buying, selling, or holding. It’s more like a gamble that you should be willing to take. Some hire a money manager that runs the business and decide when to invest and when to back off.

Cryptocurrency

The people who decided to buy bitcoin in the past risked their money, but it paid off. Bitcoin jumped from only $0.01 back in 2009, to its worth now of more than $5.000. Investing in cryptocurrencies is a risk, it needs patience and the mindset of a gambler to buy, wait, or trade at the right time.

The great Warren Buffett once said “I will tell you how to become rich. Close the doors. Be fearful when others are greedy. Be greedy when others are fearful”. If you are thinking about investing the money you have saved, you are already on the right track.

Investing in projects is a much better endeavor that holding on to the cash that only depreciates in value. Plan your strategy, and take the risk after you have thought well about all the consequences and all the scenarios that might happen
